Mollymook is a beautiful beach for the whole family. Great for a walk and swim. The southern end has flags and surf lifesavers. For surfers Mollymook Beach is a fairly exposed beach and point break that has fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Offshore winds blow from the southwest. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the best swell direction is from the southeast. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves When the surf is up, it can get quite busy in the water. Beware of rocks and sharks.

Mollymook's favourite areas include: South End of Mollymook Beach - 25-30 minutes walk (Same location as Mollymook Golf Club and Beach Hut) North End Mollymook Beach - 10 minutes walk Protected from the northerly wind) Bogey Hole - 12 minute walk (It is just around the corner from the southern end of Mollymook Beach. Great swimming hole and ideal for snorkelling)
