Nice spot to meet your through-hiker, come off the trail, or tackle a little bit of the trail yourself! The Appalachian Trail is not to be missed if you are looking for a little adventure off the beaten path, whether you are tackling the entire trail (Georgia to Maine), or a nice day hike.
