The Old Square, designed in 1559, is the most eclectic square from the architectural point of view of Havana. It is located in Old Havana and, in it, the Cuban baroque coexists with Gaudinian-inspired Art Nouveau. The Old Square is a meeting place for the Cuban family. Day and night we can find here the children practicing exercises or running and their parents enjoying the ride. Foreign visitors also join this natural, authentic and spontaneous party.

It is our heart of the city, just a few steps from the accommodation. It is the first planned attempt to expand the city in response to urban and commercial development in Havana with transformations to the present. It was originally called Plaza Nueva.In the 18th century the Plaza was converted into a popular market. In 1814 with the birth of the New Market of the Plaza del Cristo, it was renamed Plaza Vieja to differentiate it. It is represented by valuable colonial constructions of the seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and some examples of the first decades of the twentieth century that maintain stylistic unity.
