Gateway to the Manila Dunes, providing access to over 1000 acres of coastal wildlife habitat. The interpretive center is open to the public 10 am - 4 pm Wednesday thru Sunday. You can also find self-guided tour brochures in the sign-in box next to the trail head. Trails are open during daylight hours - just follow the trailhead signes www.friendsofthedunes.org From Arcata, take Hwy 255 (Samoa Blvd) South to Manila. From Eureka, take Route 255 North. Look for Friends of the Dunes signs on Hwy 255 directing you to Stamps Lane and the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center.
