La punta, located at the southern end of Puerto Escondido is the place to find almost anything you expect from the area. Great food & drinks for breakfast lunch and dinner among a chill nightlife. La punta is also a great place to experience sunset with friends, family or a loved one. There are many surf schools here as La punta is considered a beginners wave on smaller days. Take a walk around the point through natural caves and tunnels for beautiful views of Puerto.

La Punta is located at Zicatela's far southern end where the surf is more mellow. A left point that is really fun. Aside from the beach, it has everything you need such as mini-supermarkets, restaurants, surf shops, surf board rentals and bars. All this is located on a small sandy road, which gives the whole village a unique vibe compared to the rest of Puerto Escondido.
