The Ferry is a great way to see brisbane - just a 4 min walk to the ferry terminal and it takes you into CBD and beyond.

This is the best way to get to and from the city. If you will be using it a lot, best to get a Gocard, but not necessary. There is an app (Go Brisbane) with ferry (and bus and train) timetables.

If you want a picnic or a relaxing morning I recommend this lovely little park as it is only one stop upstream from the regatta ferry terminal.
