(moderate) We love this hike because you can customize it to fit your abilities and your available time. One option is hiking the whole 4 mile loop, which takes you to three viewpoints: The Ledges, Welch Mountain, and Dickey Mountain. However, if we have less than an hour to hike, we often just hike up to “The Ledges,” the first viewpoint which sits below Welch Mountain. No matter how far you go, this hike provides a lot of bang for your buck, and rarely can you find a hike that offers so many beautiful views in such a short loop. Be cautious, in rain or wintry conditions, it does get slippery.

Highly rated hiking trail. Check AllTrails for the countless hiking paths nearby.
The full loop is roughly 4.5 miles long and it passes over the peaks of both Welch and Dickey mountains. There are many clearings along the way with great views of the area.
