A big park, for RV's campers, visitors, and locals. One of our biggest parks, that has a nice walking trail, a beach in more than one area, and a concession stand if it's open. (do call to verify this). Take your picnic lunch for a relaxing day. It can be chilly, so plan on a jacket, even if it's nice in town.

Beautiful park on Lake Superior. Play structures for the kids, picnic tables and pavilions, walking trail and more! Excellent spot to watch some amazing sunsets year round!

This is the closest state park with access to Lake Superior. There is a breakwall, lighthouse, campground, cabins, and concession stand during the summer. In the winter you can snowshoe or boot in to see the frozen wave landscape and blinding ice, which feels a bit otherworldly.
