Floyd is a unique place and this is a gathering space for bluegrass jam sessions and dancing (Friday Night Jamborees). Also home-baked goods available.

If you are looking for something different to do, Floyd is an artsy little town with fun shops including the Floyd Country Store which is fun to browse, but also famous for their live blue grass performances. They also have a little sandwich shop in the store.

There is live music on Friday nights, Saturday afternoons and Sunday afternoons. Locust street is also the place to find artist's galleries and boutiques. There are antique stores and gift shops. Late night pizza and entertainment is at Dogtown Tavern. There are a few really good restaurants in Floyd.
