Weird (in a good way) and kitschy hell-themed bar. Popular, large outdoor area. Attracts an alternative crowd, but everyone feels welcome. Free Arts & Crafts on Mondays. Free B movies on Wednesdays.

Lux is a local bar in the South Wedge. They don’t have food but they do have a great back patio. This is from their website. “In case you haven't heard, Lux is a kick ass bar in Rochester's South Wedge Neighborhood. Come eat some Chex mix, sit by the outdoor fire, look at some cool art, all while enjoying a delicious cocktail. We don't have a TV. We have a huge backyard (with a fire pit for those chilly Rochester nights), a kickin' Juke Box, lots of silly board games and a swanky pool table. At Lux, EVERYONE IS WELCOME! We don't care about the color of your skin or your hair. We don't care if you are gay, straight, (or both). We don't care if you love Allah, Buddha, Jesus, Or none of the above. We don't care what you wear (or decide not to wear). We don't care if you are fat or skinny, bald or sasquatch, young (well...at least 21) or a walking corpse.
