Great view of the Gauley River from the accessible overlook. Trails and picnic spots, plus 3 geocache sites. On Rt. 129, past the Dam and Battle Run. Set on the rim of the Gauley River Canyon, the 156-acre Carnifex Ferry Battlefield State Park is an important Civil War battle site.
