An old military base turned walking paths. Make your way down to the old lighthouse for beautiful water views.
Discovery Park is Seattle’s largest green space. One essential stop is the West Point Lighthouse that you reach by following the North Beach Trail. Or you opt for the South Beach Trail - your reward is a fantastic view of Mount Rainier and Seattle’s skyline.
Take a walk through Discovery Park and down to the lighthouse. We recommend the Lighthouse Loop Trail (~4.5 miles).
Beautiful views and endless paths. It’s a bit of a trek but worth it for the tall grass and access to water.
