This place seems like its on top of the world! The awesome fact is its covered by deep snow for 75% of the year. The few summer months are all you get to explore the Ten Lakes area and its so worth it! Hiking and camping and day use of the pristine lakes there make it worth the trip up the Mountain!

A 25 minute drive from Eureka up Grave Creek Road will bring you to the Ten Lakes Scenic Area, the breathtakingly beautiful range just over the mountain from Glacier National Park. There are dozens of hikes accessible here, varying in difficulty and distance, but all rewarding in the view you will find. If you are looking for fishing, you can drive right to the Therriault Lakes. A short hike will bring you to several others in the area.

If you are looking for some off the beaten path hikes, this is your spot. The best part, enjoy great food and beer at Homestead Ales on your way out. We have a guidebook for hikes in the Whitefish Range at The Peakbaggers Roost.
