Historic Timberline Lodge with ski area and two restaurants. Famous from "The Shining" with Jack Nicholson (1980). A great day trip to ski/snowboard, hike, or just take a drive and eat at the restaurant with spectacular views.

Number one stop when visiting Mt Hood. The views are wonderful, the fireplace is massive and gorgeous, the history is interesting, and the building is outstanding in craftsmanship and artistry. People from all over the world come here to ski year-round.
