Tips from locals
The last beach accessible by car, located on the West Side. Beautiful white sandy beach, and rolling waves.
Westside is the bestside! Take a daytrip and head west, until the road ends. Watch the sunset here, this is what it's all about. Now you're in the country!
If you want to take a drive out west, they really have the most incredible open strip of beaches on the island. It ends up with this one, we like to call Yoks. Of all the beaches we've listed, this is the least populated one and is the most untouched. *1.5 hr drive to get there *Stop at mermaid…
Amazingly beautiful empty beach at the end of the road... there is also an albatross sanctuary at the far west tip of the island... bring water, snacks and sunscreen... there is little to no cover on this beach or the hike to the sanctuary.
