The Rathaus, or City Hall, is a striking neo-renaissance building where Hamburg’s Parliament and Senate assemble. Completed in 1897, a large part of the Rathaus is open for public visitation with guided tours.

The Hamburg Town Hall has impressive architecture making it a historic site. This magnificent sandstone building houses the city's senate and parliament. Come inside and walk around to discover the city's past! There is no entrance fee!
