In Leiden, you can stroll through 800 years of visible history. The City of Discoveries is home to the oldest university in the Netherlands. The city is also well-known for its rich history and old city centre, with its canals, city gates, bridges, windmills, a castle, an observatory, the Hortus…
Pretty little town of The Netherlands, worth to visit. Have a couple days of walking, cycling and boat tour, interesting history and nice relax people.
One of the University cities in this region. Nice old centre with many restaurants. Make the city walk tour, or make a boat trip trough the city canals.
Because Leiden is a beautiful historical city in which I was born but also the world most famous art painter Rembrandt. The market on Saturday is sooo nice because it's located around a canal and lots of bars and restaurants.
