Sometimes you feel like you want to have toast for breakfast, or as the Dutch say it: "A Toasty". For this we go to Zansi where they als serve a good coffee. They have more breakfast options, not a lot, but what they have is good. Only negative might be that they only start serving as of 09.00.

...every Saturday evening there is a great happy hour that starts at 5 pm. It is a very popular spot where locals mix with tourists. Always live music and a DJ, great after spending your day at the beach at Zanzibar. Sunset, especially in september can be PINK!

“Go as early as is possible to hike the highest mountain of Curacao. Locals usually leave from the East side when it’s still dark, to start climbing the mountain at dawn. Bring enough water and good sneakers. I would not recommend to go in periods with lots of rain, because the trail can get very slippery and therefore dangerous. You’ll need an average fitness level, mostly hiking. The last part just before the top can be a bit tricky. You’ll need to climb a bit onto rocks. The view is absolutely stunning and worth the hike.”
