Athens, NY - 5 mins drive to ferry from the lake house. From end of June to end of October, you can take the ferry from Athens, NY to Hudson, NY, and back. You can also tour the light house and take a sunset cruise. Hudson Ferry Cruises also offer a sightseeing cruise along the New Baltimore, Coeymans and Ravena shoreline looking for wildlife, such as Eagles Osprey, Great Blue Heron’s, Perigrine Falcons, historic homes, pass under the Castleton and Railroad bridges.
