The atmosphere is relaxed, but the staff really look after you. The food is delicious, with vegetarian and vegan options and using local ingredients. They have extensive knowledge of wines and independent brews. The building is beautiful and historic.

An hour or so away from Moylgrove, a perfect place to break the journey. One of the best places to eat in Wales.

“So many castles in Wales but this one is our favourite! An hour and a half from Cardiff but you will be rewarded with amazing views over the estuary. No entry fee, you can take a picnic and sit on the grass in the middle and the kids can explore to their hearts content!”
