Planckendael is a treat for your family or friends. It's an themed zoo, with a lot of attention for the animals, as well as the visitors. And it's very child friendly, you can rent a soap cart for the little ones. Refreshments and amenities are plentiful. Either for a day or a few hours, your time will be well spent!

Planckendael is a zoo, located on the grounds of Planckendael castle in the village Muizen in Belgium. In 1956 the Royal Zoological Society of Antwerp (KMDA) bought the estate Planckendael.

This is a very nice zoo. You can reach it by bike or car (4 km).
