Upscale and a true relic from old San Francisco, remains to be a favorite among locals even though is part of a hotel.

Take a step back in time. Always make sure they are open and call for live music schedule, but this is a wonderful venue for some live piano music and a stiff whiskey drink or martini.

Classic American dishes served in a clubby space with dark wood, white tablecloths & piano music. I like to go there for a cocktail!

My favorite bar in the city. It's old skool, named after the 4 founding fathers of San Francisco ("The Big 4"). It's dimly lit, lots of leather furniture, classically decorated and often a piano player is featured in the lounge. Elegant, historic and delicious food and drinks. You'll feel like a grown up here, but in the best of ways:)
