Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve has 227 acres of Hill Country habitat. There are 2.5 miles of easy walking and biking trails and lots of natural wildlife. Great for families and very kid friendly!

Not as popular as the Greenbelt, but my favorite trail in Austin. It takes you through hills and creeks and the entire circular hike takes about 1 hour if you do it non stop. Check out pics of the place online.
