Tips from locals
Wonderful croissants, bread, pastries and other goodies, including breakfast pizzas! Good coffee too. They serve breakfast and lunch, and have a nice outside seating area.
Great pastries, sandwiches, and wood fired pizza. Outdoor and limited indoor seating.

“Really good food, almost everything can be made vegan! Moles, enchiladas, homemade soups, salads and fish, yummy! Order at the counter and go find a seat - I love sitting at the high bar overlooking the sidewalk....or sitting in the private and sunny back patio. A treasure in our little town.”

American Restaurant
““Where friends meet” since 1894 A scenic drive down the Pacific Coast Highway brings you to Pescadero. "Duarte’s Tavern offers American country cooking, spiced by the Portugese roots of the Duarte family. They cook local fish depending on the week’s catch and a tavern menu of simple dishes, nothing fancy. Almost all of their vegetables and fruits are from the restaurant garden or grown locally. They feature wines from the Santa Cruz mountains, and their fully stocked bar makes a mean Bloody Mary."”
