Tips from locals
Perhaps better than Katz. Self serve pickles in a barrel. And they have garlic ones too!
A delicatessen with monster reubens, this is probably the closest you'll get to a New York deli. Lunch time waits average up to a half hour because of the lines. If you look at their website, you won't find any descriptions because they let their slideshow pictures do all the talking. Good luck…
The iconic deli of German Village. Huge sandwiches (can get half sandwiches). Everything NYC has within Columbus, Ohio.
Great sandwiches! Grab a pickle or three out of their large whiskey barrels filled with pickles.

“The location of our first date (it was probably a bit excessive but we are a bit excessive)! Amazing little gem tucked away in German Village with a ton of character, charm and warm feelings. Make sure you order the ravioli - you won't forget it. ”

“I recommend the German Village location, primarily because it's next to a great spirits/cocktail bar called Curio. This place focuses on using local ingredients to make fresh, hand-tossed pizzas. Their appetizers are a little more fine-dining than expected for a pizza place and definitely add to the quality of this spot. I've eaten here a few times and yet to have something I didn't want more of.”

“A true four-star dining experience for lunch or dinner. Reservations are a must, valet parking available. This is a wonderful special event restaurant ( and it is expensive - but worth it!)”
