Tips from locals
The ruins of Marcos country mansion atop the highest mountain in the area is now a public area called “People’s Park“, where visitors can enjoy mountain breezes and spectacular views.
The park was converted from an incomplete mansion, known as the palace in the sky. It was built during the Marcos era to host the visit of US President Ronald Reagan. Work stopped when Reagan canceled his visit. The incomplete scaffolding of the mansion remained intact.
You can experience the cold breeze and nice scenery of Tagaytay here and take a photo for your IG worthy travel photos.
