Luxuriate in natural volcanic heated warm ponds while swimming with reef fish and turtles. Divine! This isn't a sandy beach, but a very interesting hot pond surrounded by lava.

Our first snorkeling experience on the Big Island was here. Bring your reef shoes at low tide and snorkel at high tide.

Great snorkeling spot in protected waters. Can be a bit of a walk to get there. You will need beach shoes along with fins.
