A beach that displays the natural beauty of Martha's Vineyard with clay cliffs and glacial rocks. Parking is limited so make sure to arrive early (before noon)!

You can access this beach by parking in the town lot at the cliffs ($30 per day), there are also a few 2 hour public parking spots at the bottom of the cliffs. There is a path to walk to the beach from the Vanderhoop homestead at the top of the cliffs and from the parking lot.

Visitors enjoy views of the Gay Head Cliffs from this beach, which includes a convenient drop-off point along Moshup Trail (the actual street name!) for beach gear and then a scenic 10-minute walk along a cleared path from the parking lot. Open to the public, full restrooms at parking lot, and portable restrooms at beach entrance. There is a daily parking fee in summer.

If you have young kids, this is a great beach because the waves are easy. Views are spectacular as well! Grab a bite at the lighthouse on your way out!
