MTA is the best way to get into and out of New York City if you do not have a car, and even if you do. It is also a beautiful rail ride along the river. Heck, why even Go to New York City, instead hit ALL the rivertowns.

Best way to get to Manhattan by train! Drive to the station and park your car or take an Uber to the station over the bridge - 10 min away (without traffic)! Train goes all the way to Grand Central Terminal!

The metro north Hudson line from Tarrytown takes you directly in to Grand Central Station. From there you can walk to many tourist destinations and/or take the subway easily to others.
