Museum, old mining town, mines, park, hiking exploring. Follow the old road along the river and find swimming holes and waterfalls. Johnsville Campgrounds nearby.

Go gold panning, hiking, ATVing, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, snow mobiling, historic pioneer gold town. Museum has lots of activities and area information. Wildlife at its best too.

Gorgeous park complete with Eureka Lake and Eureka Peak, good fishing, hiking, and swimming. Relatively secluded up a dirt road from Johnsville.

One of my very favorite places to be, I grew up in Johnsville. Visit the museum - Moriarty House - Jamison Creek - explore the surrounding Eureka Peak, Mt. Washington, Mt. Elwell, and hiking trails galore. Experience Alpine Alchemy!
