With Casa Rosada on one side, it was formed in 1884, the oldest public square in BA with a history of the city's most important events such as the Independence Revolution. Visit nearby stunning, iconic & touristy Cafe Tortoni.
The political heart of the country. Historic Plaza de Mayo is where the cabildo, the Pink House and the Cathedral of BA are. From there you can walk to San Telmo through Defensa street, the first street of the city.
