Must see!! If you see one thing while your visiting the Shenandoah Valley this is it! Wonderful views and wildlife to see.
An extensive nature lover’s wonderland, offering an abundance of hiking, mountain biking, camping, and sightseeing-from-the-comfort-of-your-car opportunities. A favorite hike of ours (fine with young children) with a big view payoff at the end is Humpback Rock.
A 45-minute drive from town & a $30 entrance fee (for a vehicle). This national park does not disappoint! The closest entry point from Harrisonburg is on US Rt 33 (near mile-marker 65 in the park/Swift Run Gap). From there, head north to points in the Central District of the park or head south to…
