Tips from locals
Beautiful park just a couple of minutes (1 mile) down hill (fair warning: it will be all uphill back if you choose to walk). Has playground, walking path, beach, and great views of the Puget Sound and islands. Occasional whale sightings!
Only 15 minutes away and you can experience walking on a beach on the Puget Sound. Ignore the weather if it is rainy and bring an umbrella because the sound is amazing whether rain or shine. Pick up a big rock on low tide and see the little crabs scurry.
Hop down and do some beach combing! See beautiful Scenery Cool off in s beautiful setting! Picnic tables.

“Bus transit center located 1 mile south of the home. Great place to catch multiple bus lines. Additionally you can catch bus 131 across the street at 136th and 1st Ave South which will take you directly to the downtown core (no transfers!).”
