About this place
Declared "A-list to the extreme" by the NY Times, Andrew Carmellini's American restaurant serves roots-inspired cuisine on a historic corner in SoHo. Designed by Roman and Williams, the neighborhood spot features its own oyster room and an all-American wine and spirits list. The Dutch makes for the perfect place for an average night to slowly devolve into a lovely haze of shellfish towers, hot fried chicken and good times.

Regional American fare (including oysters and much-hyped fried chicken) in a lively, modern space. Recommend for weekend brunch or dinner in winter months. Cozy spot. I used to come here a lot when I First moved to New York. It’s a great spot yeah I feel like you will not run into a ton of tourist…

The Dutch draws in a crowd for the eclectic offerings of chef and owner Andrew Carmellini. Packed with everything from oysters and fried chicken to steak served over kimchi-fried rice, the menu has something for everyone. In addition to dinner, the brunch and midday menus make it the right choice…

French Restaurant
“Do you want to have the best burger of your life? Many people mention good burger spots in all cities but this is legitimately probably the best burger in the world. It's not a regular burger. It's french style and is rated the top burger in New York if not the world by many publications. The burger is only served at the bar, and it's a small bar. They also limit the amount of burgers served every day so it's rather exclusive (I think they only serve 12). The burger is ~$30 but you will be a happy camper if you get to bite into one of these. Seriously. Ideally, call a day ahead to confirm when they will be serving the burgers the next day as weekends and weekdays are different hours. The sweet spot is getting there 20-30 minutes before opening. You should be the first in line if not close. There are exactly 9 seats at the bar. If you don't get a seat at the bar you can't get it. This burger will change your taste buds. If you can't get a seat at the bar, the dining room serves amazing food as well. Order the Steak Au Poivre Peppercorn and you won't regret it. ”
