Why locals recommend it
It’s a destination dessert restaurant and nostalgic trinket shop that has been around since the 1950s—and yes, the movie was filmed here. I also had my sweet 16 party here! Its famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate comes in a giant glass with a pile of whipped cream on top. The freaking amazing ice cream sundaes—three scoops topped with your choice of syrup. I go with chocolate ice cream always and add hot fudge AND peanut butter, and of course whipped cream. For me, it’s not a sundae without those three ingredients.
Tips from locals
It has been the host of iconic movie scenes and the deserts are off the charts. There is usually always a wait and I believe they do not take reservations.
Restaurant from the movie! Definitely need reservations to enjoy the famous frozen hot chocolate.
