First settled in 1841, Glen Oro was purchased by the Saila family in 1967 and has been operating as a complete equestrian facility for over 50 years. More recently they have begun offering their Experiences side of life at Glen Oro which include Weddings, Glamping Farmstays, and Trail Rides. They welcome guests to come see for themselves what they have to offer set into this little valley amongst the undulating hills of beautiful Oro-Medonte. Their farm is a great place to learn all about horses and proper horsemanship. Coaching, Trail Rides and Lessons are all available by reservation. Glen Oro also hosts several Ontario Horse Trials Association (OHTA) competitions throughout each season and has been doing so for over 30 years. When they say they like horses - they mean it.

Do you want to go horseback riding? Well, look no further! My guests have a great time at Glen Oro! They offer coaching, trail rides, lessons. Most guests take their 2 hour experience that will certainly get you your 'horsey fix' for the trip!
