“Although there is a long line of tourists waiting to take the funicular to Mount Fløien, it is a must while in Bergen. Save time in the line by buying a coffee or bun plus a ticket for the funicular at the bakery Godt brød by the main station in the center, or walk up to one of the higher stops with no queue (it only stops at the in-between stops once a hour). Great views both on the way and on the top, freshly made buns in the kiosk on top and good playing areas for children. Avoid the restaurant, the food is overprized and boring. Walk down to the center again, it is easy and downhill and will only take you approximately 20-30 minutes.”
