The old village of Duddingston is worth a visit and is located beautifully between Arthur's Seat and Duddingston Loch, both great for walking.

This is a 12th Century church - Church of Scotland. Look out for the "Loupin on stane" outside that was used by Gentlemen to re-mount their horses after attending Kirk.

lovely historical Church of Scotland church in beautiful grounds, right on the edge of Holyrood Park. Great place to start a walk up Arthur's Seat
