RHS Garden Bridgewater opened its doors for the very first time in May 2021, bringing spectacular horticultural displays to the North West. The 154-acre garden in Salford was designed by landscape architect Tom Stuart-Smith, who has eight gold medals for his gardens at the Chelsea Flower Show. Tom will join our summer tour of RHS Garden Bridgewater, showing you his stunning designs and giving you tips for perfecting your own outdoor space. It cost £34 for a day pass for a family of 4 which can be upgraded to a year pass for £75. No fixed entry time. Post code m28 2lj. Open 10am, last entry 5pm. We enjoyed everything about this visit and decided to upgrade to an annual membership. I’ve visited loads of ornamental gardens all over the world, including lots in the south of France, fields of sunflowers, and this is every bit as beautiful. Everyone should visit here when they get the opportunity too. Of course my children had visited already on a school trip so we’re our tour guides and taught us about evergreens. On our second visit here we parked at the end of the car park and went for a longer walk along the canal first, which is lovely, it would be great to explore on bicycles, with ample safe bicycle racks. Opening 30 July 2020: RHS Garden Bridgewater, a new spectacular 154-acre garden, transforming the historic grounds of Worsley New Hall, Salford, into a beautiful green place for the local community and visitors to enjoy all year-round.
