The Botanical Garden of the University of Graz, near the Hilmteich, is home to an exotic plant kingdom. Surrounded by Art Nouveau villas on Schubertstrasse in Graz are three striking, futuristic greenhouses made of acrylic glass in the middle of a 2.8 hectare garden area. Palms, orchids, citrus plants, cacti and thousands of other plants can be admired here both indoors and outdoors. An ideal place to spend hot summer hours in the city, relaxing in the shade. Admission is free.
