Tips from locals
Great option for a rainy day, catch a film in what was The Forum Theatre in 1930, designed by architect J. Stanley Beard. Interiors have been modernised, and the Compton organ is long gone, but a fave of ours nonetheless.
This Multiplex cinema chain shows all of the latest international blockbusters in 2D and 3D. Perfect for rainy days or a cosy night out.

“Beaufort House is one of King's Road's leading lights. The private members club offers a laid back yet super stylish atmosphere across its four floors, as guests get comfy and indulge in the various culinary delights on offer. There's a fantastic spread of treats ranging from lighter brunch options to fully-fledged burgers and steaks, all washed down with meticulously crafted cocktails, wines and champagnes. Heavenly!”

“Gordon Ramsay’s flagship restaurant can be found a stone’s throw from Chelsea Royal Hospital. The hushed tones are less from fear of the eponymous chef and more likely to be in awe of the food, which is as you’d expect from a three Michelin-starred establishment, is more theatrical and fascinating than filling. The à la carte menu, largely French in influence, offers three courses for £110 and waiters who are more than happy to talk diners through the details. The current chef de cuisine is Matt Abe – a Ramsay protégé.”

“Favourite hangout of the young and moneyed Chelsea-ites, the food at Bluebird has traditionally played second fiddle to the cocktails. Newly-appointed executive chef Simon Gregory has, thankfully, upped the kitchen’s game considerably with the likes of salt baked kohlrabi and salsify and spice roasted baby chicken now the stars of the show.”
