Really lovely. Especially nice on a sunny day - take a picnic along. There is also a pub across the road and a lovely Art Gallery that serves yummy food, a little further down.

Dirleton Castle is a medieval fortress located in the centre of the village of Dirleton. Dirleton is approx. 2 miles west of North Berwick, and around 14 miles east of New Winton. The oldest parts of the castle date to the 13th century, and it was abandoned by the end of the 17th century. Well worth a visit!

Dirleton castle is a few miles drive away from Dunbar and is well worth visiting. The Archerfield estate (home of the Renaissance golf course which hosted the Scottish open in 2019) is close by and has an excellent restaurant for breakfast or lunch. They brew their own beer there!
