Cute town bordering the Penobscot River. Fun day trip. Go up the elevators to the top of the Penobscot Narrows bridge, explore Fort Knox, walk along the River on the Bucksport Veterans Park, shop the downtown shops.

Bucksport has several good restaurants, a large grocery store and is located near the Penobscot Narrows bridge and Fort Knox.
