Why locals recommend it

Every Thursday, there’s an organized group ride, called the Palmer Park Ride. The park is in one of the most beautiful and historic neighborhoods in the city. It was almost shut down recently, but local volunteers cleaned it up and cleared out miles of trails. I go on this ride whenever I get a chance. There’s a historic log cabin in the park that’s been around since 1887.

I ride my bike here during lunch when in town. They have nice picnic areas, bike & walking trails, tennis & basketball courts.
