This is one of New England's most scenic drives. The drive takes you through the white mountains all the way to North Conway. Throughout the trip, there are scenic vistas for you to stop and take in the sights!

“Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, sandy beaches, clear/clean water, portable toilet, and picnic tables. Shallow water several feet out from the beach. Bring your floats and spend the day. No motorized boats allowed. Quiet and serene. Get there before 10 for better luck at securing your own sandy spot.”

  • Restaurant
“This is a must for breakfast. A small local breakfast restaurant and Sugar Shack. You won't be disappointed. Pancakes, omelets, homemade breads, burritos, eggs any way you like. As the name suggests, they are a Sugar Shack and produce Maple Syrup. Stop by and pick up some syrup in the gift shop. Best in the State of New Hampshire.”

  • Brewery
“The Woodstock Inn has an extensive menu and a lively bar scene. There is live music on the weekends, and they brew several popular local beers. Very kid-friendly. There is a "hidden" pub area with a few video games and a foosball table. When there is a long wait for tables, check out the pub - it's first come first serve. And ask about the dinner special, there is usually an inexpensive comfort food special that won't show up on the menu.”
