This museum, located in Utne (only 9 km from Vines) has a wide collection of folk costums and the unique Hardanger violin. There is also an Open Air museum with 20 buildings showing everyday life from middle ages and up to the 20th century.

take the ferry from Kinsarvik and over to Utne. Here its a great museum, indoor and outdoor. GREAT!! Even if you dont like museums you will like it!
