Fab place for a visit if passing through Dumfries on the way to the coast. Often has interesting art exhibitions a fab wee shop with great and unusual gifts created by local artists and a superb cafe with great home made dishes! YUM!!

Gracefield Arts Centre hosts a changing programme of contemporary and historical art exhibitions throughout the year. These feature regional, national and international artists and craft makers. It also holds a collection of over 600 artworks by Scottish artists and art relating to the region. There is a wide range of talks and events throughout the year. Activities led by artists and makers are available for kids, babies and toddlers, as well as art and craft workshops for adults. There is a café and craft shop.
