Part of the UNESCO world heritage in 2014. A chalk cliff rising from the sea, 15 km long and 41 m in height, it offers fantastic formations not found elsewhere.

Take the train to Koge, change for Faxe Ladeplads (less than 2h) and bike along the sea, through the forest towards the north for 25km. The cliff is magnificent and gives you the historical chronology of the past millions years. On the way, you could also enjoy white sand beach. Then you just have to reach Store Heddinge for taking the train back to home (less than 1h).

Go see the old church and the cliff in Højerup it is a very romantic spot. Lots of people get married at that spot on the edge of the world, but it is also a nice place just be. Look at the old fishing villige of Højerup with the tradidional limestone buildings, have breakfast, lunch, coffee or dinner at Traktørstedet. But and icecream and enjoy the scenery and the idylic green areas. You can also take a walk on Trampestien which is a path that follow the cliff for 14-16 km.

This is a fantastic site to visit. The experience of standing in the church (Højerup Gamle Kirke) and opening the door to the abyss is breathtaking. There is a cafe nearby and good walking paths.

One of the rare places in the world one can see "fish clay" - the layer when the dinosaurs became extinct. There are white chalk and flint cliffs. A great place to walk and perhaps see the war museum under the ground. I can take you there if you have time. 1 hour on the train.
