Most iconic and largest park-plaza in Guayaquil, right in the middle of the city old-town. Inaugurated on the 9th of October, 1920 to commemorate the centennial of Guayaquil's independence.

El Parque Centenario es el más grande de Guayaquil. Ocupa una extensión de cuatro cuadras, en las que se pueden observar varios monumentos, siendo el de mayor importancia el de La Libertad, que muestra las imágenes de los héroes ecuatorianos.
