Notorious Classic Cafe. Breakfast served on weekends only. Worth the wait if there is a line. Try the nestle toll house pie with ice cream.

If you head down to Clear Lake or Kemah... Skip the higher prices at the boardwalk and the amusement park style food at NASA and, instead, take the family to the best casual, family friendly restaurant or adult happy hour bar in the entire area. The shrimp po-boy is delicious. The kids meals are hearty after a long tiring day of play and they don't taste like rubber. I have picky kids and they actually eat here! Prices are extremely reasonable. Parking is sometimes busy.
